Traveling service available

I can come to you — an additional $10.00 is charged for traveling services. On a wedding or prom morning, not having to drive anywhere is usually worth more than the fee.

Styles that survive the night

An event style has a harder job than a everyday one. It has to survive hugging relatives, dancing, a car with the windows down, and a Fresno evening that's still warm at nine o'clock. Looking good at 5pm is easy; still looking good at midnight is the actual skill.

That's built in the foundation rather than the finish — how the hair is prepped, where it's anchored, and what's holding it that you can't see. It's also why an event style takes longer than a blowout, and why I'd rather have the extra time than rush it.

What I do

Intricate updos

Twisted, braided, pinned and structured. Formal without being stiff, and built to hold for hours.

Sleek, modern waves

The polished, glossy, "effortless" wave that takes considerably more effort than it looks. Photographs beautifully from every angle.

Half-up styles

For anyone who wants their hair down but off their face. A good middle ground if a full updo feels like too much.

Styling around a hairpiece

Veils, combs, tiaras, clips and flowers. Bring the piece with you — where it sits changes how the whole style is built, so it can't be an afterthought.

Before your appointment

  • Day-old hair holds better than freshly washed. Squeaky-clean hair is slippery and fights pins. Wash the day before, not the morning of.
  • Skip the conditioner on the roots for that last wash — it makes hair softer and harder to hold.
  • Wear a button-up or something that unzips. Pulling a top over a finished updo is a heartbreaking way to end an appointment.
  • Bring the accessory and the dress photo. The neckline genuinely affects which style suits.

Common questions

Can you do a whole bridal party?

Yes. Message me rather than booking online for groups — we'll work backwards from when you need to be ready and build a schedule, including who goes first. The bride is usually second-to-last, not last.

How far ahead should I book prom?

As early as you can. Prom season is concentrated into a few Saturdays across Fresno and Clovis and those slots go quickly — once you have the date, book it.

Can I add makeup?

Yes — makeup is booked separately, and having both done in one sitting saves you a lot of logistics on the day.

My hair is short. Can I still have an updo?

Often yes, with the right approach, and sometimes with added pieces. Send me a photo of your hair down and I'll tell you honestly what's possible before you book.
